Fit Girl Smoothie

After a great workout, you should reward your body with something delicious and nutritious!

I came up with this smoothie just cleaning out my fridge and it was wonderful!

I call it the Fit Girl Smoothie. It is low in carb, slightly higher in fats, but that is from the avocado, so it’s all good fat šŸ™‚

Adding avocados to smoothies create a creamy texture, I much prefer that over adding nuts to get my fats in.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • 1 cupĀ ice
  • 1/2 Ā cup unsweetend vanillaĀ almond milk
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2/3 cup spinach (I used a mix of frozen and raw leaves, what I had)
  • 50g avocado (about 1/3 small avocado)
  • 1/4 scoop peanut butter marshmallow whey protein *or you can use a few Tablespoons of PB2 powder*
  • Stevia to taste

Note: I cut this recipe in half of what I originally made. I couldn’t finish the entire drink, so I realized I needed to cut the recipe for next time.

I just love the beautiful green color. Plus it tasted AMAZING. So refreshing and the peanut butter really stood out. Do not be afraid of spinach in your smoothies. You are getting all the nutritionalĀ benefits and you can’t even taste the spinach. It’s just like drinking a creamy peanut butter smoothie šŸ™‚
