Not What I Had in Mind…

So today unfortunately, another blog that is quick and not really a blog. I am sick to the point where I got up to feed Phoebe and almost fell over and passed out… NOT what I had in mind when I said I wished I had a few days off from work.

So yes, home again today, trying to fight this evil virus. And it is pretty darn evil. Can’t breathe, dragon throat, cough starting (which means this guy will stick around for a good few weeks), ears that feel like I’m on an airplane, teeth pain, and a throbbing headache. I’m totally winning aren’t I? Just got over the knee thing then someone said HA NOT SO FAST MISSY! Have some germy germs (I picture a little green Mucinex character laughing and doing that evil wiggle with his fingers).

I slept till about 2 yesterday… yep 2pm. I had put Phoebe down off my bed around 9am and then I woke up and thought okay where the heck is she.

Underneath my printer table….

Then later we migrated to the chair for some REALLY bad reality TV. I’m talking about 8-10 hours worth folks. What else do you do when you are sick and can’t function?

But then eventually got bored and had a little fun of her own

And for giggles this is what I looked like

Can you BELIEVE I actually got hit on looking like this!? Yes, it’s true. I went downstairs to pick up a package that had been waiting for me. I had no voice, gross pajamas on, a nose strip on, and hadn’t bathed since the day before which meant I probably smelled (I can’t smell anything right now so I probably do) and some guy starts trying to talk to me and actually asked me if I happened to be single. I laughed in the dudes face and said YOU ARE SERIOUS RIGHT NOW? Oh my gosh… dude leave me alone.

I had to add this part to my blog because I cannot believe how ‘ridiculous’ (for you G-Mama) people can be. Let’s just say that poor guy must’ve been super hard up, because I looked like DEATH.

Upstairs things weren’t going much better. Around 11pm I was craving a little peanut butter snack and then this happened…

I didn’t know the glass would actually shatter like that! It must have really hit with force. It cracked all the way up the side too, there was no saving it.

Then 5 minutes later I was moving pens from my computer table and this happened…

And tears formed. I quit life.

It was just one of those days!

I’m still home sick today, but praying I feel a little better by tomorrow. I’d hate to have my whole weekend turned to poo! Please evil Mucinex guy, get out of me!
