2 Days Into It
Hello everyone!
I never thought I’d be a morning workout person, but I guess if you don’t have to be at work at 5:45am it’s much more manageable. Yesterday morning I had fun working out at 7am.
And then I was dressed!
Also something I am excited about? A genius idea that was not my own, but my friend Sarah’s. Sarah and I share a love of carbs, particularly bread. She posted on her instagram a picture of her breakfast and I immediately texted her asking if I could share with you all. She made chocolate protein french toast, but that’s not what I’m sharing. THE DIP. That is what I’m sharing.
If you followed me WAY back, I’m talking when I first started this blog over 2 years ago, you might remember my obsession with dips. That has not changed, but I do try to control my dipping habit a bit more now. I believe I once said “I put hummus on my hummus”. 🙂
Sarah combines peanut butter with coconut oil and it makes an “Au Jus” type sauce. Rather than a beef savory dip, this is for the french toast. Or really anything you want to add sweetness to. It would be great with apples, waffles, or heck I will put it on my egg whites for sweet eggs.
It’s 1 teaspoon of coconut oil (melted) per 2 Tablespoons of peanut butter. You could use almond butter too! Mmmmm
Seriously Sarah I’m a little annoyed I didn’t think of this first 😉
But now we can all try this yummy delight together!
