A Quick Saturday Hey
I’m almost done my progress post. Really it’s finding all the pictures over the past 20 weeks that’s hurting me here.
Oh how I miss those abs. I know it’s not realistic to keep full time though.
But anyway, I wanted to stop in really quick on a Saturday and say I haven’t gone MIA. My life has changed A LOT recently, but in a great way!
I’m trying to get myself back in regular food mode. It’s been hard, really hard. Breaking the sugar addiction is worse than being strict on a prep! Once I get a taste of “the good stuff”, it’s all I want. Fluffs used to be a treat, now I say what the heck is this!?
Anyway, Tony and I have been trying to be good. We allow ourselves some treats on the weekends (two birthday parties are happening today so it’s safe to say I’m having cake somewhere!), but during the week we do our normal thing. I tried reverse dieting but I felt like I was back on prep again. Counting every darn morsel. I was setting myself up for failure. I still measure some of my proteins, but during this week I’ve been eating WHEN I’M HUNGRY and not depriving the healthier foods that I missed out on during prep.
For instance here I went to lunch with Tony and I had a small piece of wheat bread on the side with my salad. Delicious!
I’ve been enjoying dairy again. Greek Yogurt is heavenly!
I also made an amazing Sriracha Marinade I found on Pinterest. I used it for Tony’s chicken thighs, but put some on my salmon. YUMMY!

I also made these delicious protein pancakes. All you do here is add water! I always screw up a pancake so this was literally a no fail food.

Yesterday I did a really cool ab workout using bands that is going to be my “go-to” ab workout this off season. My goal is to hit abs three times a week. I have awesome obliques when I lean out, but zero abs, so if I plan on doing figure I need to get them there! I’m going to take some photos of me doing them and upload it here next week. It’s fun!

Yay for balance!! Once it is found, it’s such a relief, and just makes life so much easier!! And I can’t wait for the ab exercise!! I love to hate them, so I’m always looking for new ones! Have fun at the birthday parties today 🙂
