Craving a fluffy Starbucks Frappe? But not craving the extra calories and fat that come with it? Or the heavy price tag for a frozen coffee?
I have a healthy (and cheaper) solution for you. The Frappuccino Fluff!
You guys know I love my fluffs. Well the other day I had one after my coffee and thought wait, why have I not combined my two loves yet?
Seriously, what took me so long? The recipe is so easy, it’s basically my regular fluff recipes, but with coffee! You can also substitute espresso, but I didn’t have any.
For this recipe you will need:
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 1/4 cup of brewed black coffee
- Splash of unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder
- 2 Tablespoons of sugar free cool whip for topping
- Cacao powder for dusting on top
Into a blender or food processor throw in the frozen banana, coffee, milk, and vanilla protein powder
Blend on low continuously for 3 minutes until you have a fluffy frappe! Top with your goodies 🙂
The Frappuccino Fluff
For the HUGE serving (including cool whip), this comes out to be 250 calories, 2.5 grams of fat, 30 grams of carbs, and 30.2 grams of protein.
If you are just doing one glass (like in the picture above), you can cut this down by a third to a half (coming in around 150 calories give or take). I had a pretty big serving left over in my Vitamix, but please I wasn’t wasting it, so I had that too 😉
Dig into this fluff anytime! You can do decaf too if you want it at night as a dessert.
