Fur Mama

Hey everyone. Well, I didn’t get a chance to write yesterday, but it seems to be my life lately. Maybe one day I’ll have it all figured out, but as of right now I’m going with the flow.

I’m actually off for these next few days because we are having Hazel spayed. It really hurts my heart to put her through it, but we have to. I made sure I was off to take care of my baby girl since Tony’s schedule is pretty unpredictable.

Plus, when Phoebe was spayed years ago, it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. I sat up with her all night long and she cried in pain. I felt super helpless and they had only given me doggie Motrin. This time I am making sure I have more than that!

Well that’s a throwback to when Phoebe was done! Look how little she was! Not only was I crying here, but where the heck are my eyebrows?

The dreaded cone, yeah I’m not looking forward to that with Miss Hazel because she is a torpedo. I pretty much have no idea how this is going to go since she’s also a licker and a scratcher, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

Phoebe’s didn’t last long. She wasn’t a licker and I trusted her. She just wanted to sleep with her ducky. Actually Ducky got renamed to “Dirty Duck” for obvious reasons 😉

So this Fur Mama is going to do what regular Mama’s do and spoil Miss Hazel until she feels better. They are mama’s girls anyway, ALWAYS by my side!

Even when I try to do one of those “cool” instagram photos where people look all mysterious, pondering their life by a window… photobombed by the pups!

Well I’m off for the day. Hopefully I will be able to get some workouts in these next few days, if not I can make it work at home 🙂
