Here’s the Thing
Hello to all my readers out there!
Just a few words today… a little something I’m calling “Here’s the Thing”.
As my competition gets closer, things are becoming more intense. My workouts are longer, my body is EXHAUSTED, work this week has been insanely stressful, it’s been hard for me to update my blog with all of this, and I’ve been sleeping maybe 3-4 hours. Even nights I do not work, prep has been causing crazy insomnia.
After talking to my mom and my friend/co-competitor Mary, they both said the same. YOU NEED REST. You need to slow down, put some things on the back burner and take care of yourself. After all this competition should be fun, not causing mental breakdowns. My body needs sleep and proper rest if I want it to change. Rest is just as important for this process as training.
With that said, no I will not disappear until show time, but I won’t be updating regularly, and during the work week there might only be one or two updates if that. I hope you guys will understand. This blog is EVERYTHING to me, but some things need to go ahead of it right now.

I completely understand, your health is of most importance! Sometimes all you need is to slow down and relax and you will feel so much better for it. Take care and I wish you all the best. You are doing so well, I am very proud of your hard work. Once its finished treat yourself! Tam x

Enjoy your rest. It’s not worth to beat yourself up like this! You really need your energy for the prep. And you won’t lose us only for less regular updates 😉
