Olympia Weekend
Hey everyone!
I’ve made it to Thursday and while this week has been insanely busy it also went pretty fast.
Each day I hit the gym really hard and it feels good when people tell me how much I’ve leaned out. It’s been quite the learning process this time around, and I should’ve always made my own decisions. Now that I’m doing it all on my own now, changes finally started toย happen.
Speaking of changing. Yes I had to go change my yoga pants after my cardio the other day. Why you ask? Well I was wearing them backwards!!! I was on the step mill and kept thinking why are these pants so low in the back and baggy in the front? Whoops! So after cardio I switched them the right way. ๐ it happens!
If you notice the seams are now no longer on the sides!
On Wednesday I had a little extra time in between doing things to go help an orthopedic surgery. Definitely out of my comfort zone (I don’t do bones), but so much fun when you work with great people!
Cool hat huh?
It’s a little funny how different I look during the work hours, then I change and out come the muscles! Most people have no idea ๐
OH! If you’re interested in bodybuilding or seeing bikini competitions, The Olympia (the biggest bodybuilding competition of the year), will be broadcasted LIVE this weekend. I streamed it last year from my computer, but this year NBC Sports is airing it. Unfortunately I do not get that channel, so I’ll be streaming again. It really is a fantastic show. Here is the websiteย
The bikini girls go on tomorrow night (Friday)! Event starts 9:30pm eastern time.
Last year Ashley Kaltwasser was the underdog and took the title of Ms. Bikini Olympia, she comes back this year defending her title, going for the first consecutive win!
I mean I don’t understand how they choose, all of these women are gorgeous!
I’m sort of rooting for Amanda Latona though. Her glutes are out of this world.
But my heart forever stays with Jessica Arevalo. My all time favorite bikini competitor. It would be amazing to see her take it, but she’s not as favored. I just adore her though!
I have to give so much credit to all of these women. It’s very hard to maintain this shape and they do it all year round! Not luck, just dedication ๐
So check it out if you’re curious. I’ll be glued to my computer!
Have a great day!

Whoa, seriously – bikini girls stay in competition shape year round?? That’s crazy!! I mean, they obviously look incredible, but I thought the whole idea behind these kind of competitions is that it’s a level of leanness that’s not healthy, mentally or physically, to maintain year round. What are your thoughts?

THE PROS do. It’s their full time job, they make a living off their bodies. This is a hobby for me. Even if I was able to reach a pro level it’s not something I would want to make my job. But also these girls have nutritionists, people that have built their metabolism from the ground up, so they are eating exactly what they need to to make their body look like that. And probably very big amounts of it. A lot of people do not understand in order to look like those women you have to eat! However, it’s very strict and every now and then I want some goat cheese ya know? lol

Wow! I don’t even understand how the judges can choose; everyone looks impossibly in shape!

I know, all stunning!
