DC Night Out
My ears are still ringing and my head is still pounding from seeing the Red Hot Chili Peppers last night. They put on a great show and played all their hits, but it was way past my bedtime by the time we got home. I sound like an old lady 😉 Tony was partially deaf too after the show, so I’m not alone.
Before the show we had an awesome dinner at a Mexican restaurant. Tony and I love a local restaurant near our house and well, this place blew it out of the water. SUPER FRESH guac, braised tacos, and well the frozen margaritas were adorable.
Not to mention the salsa I could ACTUALLY EAT FOR ONCE! It was cilantro free. I ate a lot of it because I can never eat salsa out.
Of course our together time is short lived because he’s working today and I’m off. That’s always the way it goes around here. Over the summer I was doing a ton of nights for months, and he always did dayshift only. Then it flipped the other way. That’s just our lives now. So these nights “out” are super special to me.
I know this was a super short blog today but I have some things to take care of today. I did want to address my occupation because I’ve gotten some messages, comments, and e-mails about what I do as a PA. Unfortunately, I can’t talk about it at all. My job is super important to me and this blog is a completely different part of my life. I keep my blog life and work life separate. I don’t talk about this at work, and I don’t talk about work here. I’m sorry to disappoint, but it’s just the way it has to be. I hope you respect my decision. 🙂
Have an awesome Thursday. I’ll see you tomorrow. Friday, yay!
