Four Days of What I Love

Hello Everyone! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend and a good Labor Day! The end of summer is here. Wow that went fast, huh? I had a great one filled with two amazing trips with good friends. I couldn’t have asked for better vacations šŸ™‚ Who needs an expensive tropical island when you have fitness vacations and awesome friends to spend time with? My kind of vacation!

These past four days I’ve absolutely killed it in the gym. To the point I’m on the stair master looking around, dripping, and instead of saying “man I’m tired”, I was saying “MAN I FEEL BAD ASS!”. That’s how you have to look at your workouts folks. Don’t focus on the negativity, focus on the positive. I have to admit to you guys though once I start the lean out process, my confidence SPIKES. I don’t sound like the best role model, but I feel my best when I’m about 5 pounds lighter than my off season weight. 5 pounds, that’s it! Learn your body, learn what makes you happy, and go with it.

Unfortunately I was so busy I didn’t have time to film the glute workout video, maybe next weekend? I really wish I had time to do them, but I’m a one woman show and it’s an all day extravaganza! After a long work week I just want to workout when I want, see my family, and catch up on meal preps and things of that nature.

After 4-5 hard core gym sessions…

Yes I wrote on the spin mirror. The instructors do it and let’s face it, I spend more time in there than they do! So I wrote my own motivation on the wall. Sorry gym!

I wish I had EXCITING things to tell you but I was a slave to the gym and meal prep this weekend. The grind is getting real, but when I start to see progress I work that much harder. Hoping to have a better blog for you guys tomorrow once this day is OVER! (Mom stop worrying šŸ˜‰ )

Also if anyone has a music suggestion as to what I should do my stage walk to this go around, let me have ’em! I get 90 seconds and I’d love something remixed/mashed, but I don’t know the first thing about making that happen. Last time I walked to Britney Spears ‘Drop Dead Beautiful’. I definitely don’t want a current top 40 hit though! Thanks šŸ™‚
